🔄 How do I Change My Move-Out?

Updated this week

✅ Step 1: Check Your Current Move-Out Date

Your preferred move-out date in the Coloc Housing Dashboard is temporary until you've submitted an official notice. If you haven’t given notice yet, you can update this date whenever you need to.

🔄 Step 2: Update Your Move-Out Date (If You Haven't Given Notice)

If you haven’t submitted your official two-month notice yet, you can update your move-out date directly in your Coloc Housing Dashboard. Simply go to the “Current Contract” section and make the change.

📞 Step 3: If You've Already Submitted Your Notice

Once you've submitted your official two-month notice, the notice period is in effect. If you want to extend your stay beyond the two months, the only option is to cancel your notice and resubmit it with a new move-out date.

However, if a new tenant has already onboarded for your bedroom during this time, you won't be able to cancel your notice. In that case, reach out to Coloc Housing directly to discuss other possible options.

📝 Step 4: Follow Your Rental Agreement Terms

The default rental contract is for 9 years, and unless you’ve given notice, you can stay for as long as your contract allows.

💡 Important Notes

  • If you haven’t submitted an official notice yet, you’re free to stay as long as your contract allows.

  • Once your notice is submitted, you’re committed to the two-month notice period, and any changes to your move-out date must be coordinated with Coloc Housing.
