Before submitting a repair request, you're expected to try and fix the issue yourself if it's something minor (like a clogged drain or a flickering light). Even if you open a ticket, you may still be asked to handle it directlyâwhy? Because repairs are paid using your houseâs shared repair budget. The more you fix yourselves, the more budget you keep for bigger issues later.
If something in your home needs fixing and youâve already tried or checked whether it's something you can solve, hereâs how to report it:
Log into your account on the Coloc Housing website.
Go to the Help Center and select "Report a Repair."
Fill in the form with:
Location (bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, etc.)
Description of the issue
Photos or a video if possible (this really helps speed things up)
Click Submit â your request will be reviewed as soon as possible.
âł What happens next?
Urgent issues like water leaks, heating failure, or electrical hazards are treated with top priority.
Non-urgent requests will be handled based on how serious they are and your houseâs repair budget.
