What about bikes, car parking or extra amenities?

It depends on the house! Some Coloc Housing properties have bike storage areas or garages, while others do not.

We aim to have at least one additional space per house, such as:

  • 🏋️ Gym

  • 🧘 Yoga Room

  • 💻 Co-Working Space

  • 🌿 Garden & BBQ Area

  • Check your house listing on the website to see if bike storage or a parking spot is available and also what additional spaces they have.

  • If in doubt, ask your future roomies about storage options or have a look at the Virtual Tour!

⚠️Important:

If no bike storage is provided, we advise against placing bikes in the hallways to prevent damage to the hallways.

How to proceed if you have a car 🚗

Eligibility:
You must be registered at the address to apply for a resident parking card.

Cost:
The first card is usually free. A second card costs around €150–250 per year, depending on the city.

How to organize parking as housemates:
Parking is self-organized, Coloc Housing doesn’t manage it directly.
We simply recommend splitting any parking costs evenly among everyone in the house.

Example:

  • If two people have a car: the first card is free, the second costs €200/year → each pays €100/year.

  • If three people have a car and you rent a thirs, private parking space nearby for €50/month → you can split that cost too, so about €17/month per person.

Some houses also have private parking spots, so it’s worth checking with your future housemates to see what’s available.
